Hello world! Welcome to the little corner of the internet about the little things I do in my little corner of this world.
First off, let’s talk about what a cantrip is:
can·trip
/ˈkanˌtrip/
nounarchaic•Scottish
noun: cantrip; plural noun: cantripsa mischievous or playful act; a trick.
In modern parlance, it pops up most often in tabletop role-playing games as the little spells that are granted at player creation which power low-level magical play. I like to think of the little tricks that I do around the house as little bits of mundane magic that keep my family and myself going.
Here you can expect to find food recipes and discussions, hobby chat, and whatever else I’m up to at the moment. I have a wide variety of interests and will shift over time. At the time of this first post, I’m into sewing, reading, cooking, and a little bit of podcasting, but expect to see some sewing machine repair posts until I get the hoard in working order. I might drop some book reviews, but I probably won’t.
